What are Charms and DooDads?

 Don't you just love them?

For some reason I feel like I just wrote about them recently.  Do you do that? Do something and forget you wrote or spoke to someone about that very subject then repeat it over and over.  That is called getting old.  Yikes, never thought I would do that.  But low and behold I now do.  Not bad yet.  What was I talking about?   Just kidding.  

Charms and DooDads.

What is a charm?

Well you can charm someone to get them to like you.  But that is not the one I am talking about.

Here are some charms.   Use them to decorate with, or put on earrings, necklaces, whatever.

Ok now what is a Doo Dad.

Well it is just about anything.  A trivial ornament or gadget that you can't quite thing of the name for it.   Like the front of a button, broken ear ring, cute thing. You can make really cool things out of them. I mean just look at the pics below.

Some look like they are from earrings.  I mean if I have 2 of them the buyer might want to make earrings.  So far I just play around with them, coming up with ways they might be used.  I have way to many crafts in my head of what I want to make.  Here are some more ideas.

Please Comment on My new Bracelet Design

Hello everyone.  Well once again I have been working hard on bracelet orders being ordered for stocking stuffers or christmas gifts.  Several have picked out charms then tell me design it however you like.  Ok that tells me that as long as I use those charms they are fine with it.  So I designed this bracelet below.

Here are a couple more angles.

I really like it and even wore it for 30 minutes thinking maybe I would make myself one like it.

I sent pics to the customer, she DID NOT like it and wanted me to remove the feather.  I did and here is what it looks like without it.

 My feelings were kind of hurt but I didn't tell her that. And I wanted her to be happy, so I redid the bracelet. Here is the same bracelet without the feather.  To me it looks so bare.  Please comment below and tell me what you think?  Do you like it with or without the feather.

I think I am going to raise the price though for special orders as it takes me 1 1/2 hours to make them.  Some even longer.  They are fun to make, but worth more than $3.50.  And I found out the local mall sells the same exact ones for $20.00.  Which to me is WAY WAY to high.

Feeling Better Doing a little Crafting

Well I can't believe I am finally after 3 days starting to feel like I am coming back to life.  But not 100%  My daughter wants to take me and hubby out to eat.  I suggested her bring us Panda Express.  She said no she wants to take us out.  What is with kids.  I am not back to 100% and still need rest.  I don't want to hurt her feelings, but geesh.

Now on another note, here is what I made today.  

 these were special orders.  Here is the 2nd one she ordered.

I really enjoyed making them.  But get so nervous when I make them to order. 

 The next 2 I just was playing around to see if I could even make these bracelets or not.

Let me know which one you like better. 

And do you think I did an ok job.  I'm not looking for compliments, just want to make sure I'm on the right track.
