Tiny Cactus from Wish.

If you have been to with you might have seen these.

Well I didn't get around to planting my little cactus so now she is this size.

I went on line and found how they say to replant them.

Not all of the adds show this.  I decided I am going to buy more.  I've bought 2 orders so far.  I'm going to order more.

And found out the more you order the cheaper in the long run.  Some Wish items if you order more than one they charge you several shipping cost.  Not this one.

Late Post Christmas Brooches

Brooches for December 2020 Senior Living Home.

Yes I am very late posting these but thought some of you might enjoy seeing what I made this year for the Seniors.  Ok last year around I think January I found a place that sold things that were sent back to places like Amazon.  I bought these for like 50 cents for a dozen.  But forgot to look for more.  So first here are the ones created with the stockings I bought on sale.

Click Photos below to see larger print.

For a few close ups

The packages at the top are thank you cards here are some pics

So here are the tags I created and cut out some of the gift tags in a different shape.  I used cardboard from Cereal boxes and some shiny gift wrap and ribbon I found that someone sent to me.  The Tags above I traced the Large bow making a template.  I cut out 12 like them.  I used Stampin Up Marker Olive Green and then painted on a glitter glue.  I had to do 3 coats to cover it to look like I wanted.  The Ribbon down the middle was Glitter Washi Tape.  These were so much fun to make.  Oh also I used my heat gun to dry the Green bows in between each coat.

I also ran out of Gingerbread men.  So I had to find my piece of cork someone gave me and make my own Gingerbread Men.  they are not as cute as store bought, but well had to do something.

Since I ran out of Stockings I decided to make some from scratch.  I looked through drawers and boxes then I remembered I had a tiny one someone had made me and it gave me an idea on how to make my bigger ones.

Don't remember what the stitching is called but here is a close up photo.
I also always put my made by on the back of each brooch I make
Making these led me to making tiny ones for my granddaughter Makayla'Jos new doll house.  And Then thought why not for my for my other granddaughter Aleigha's American Dolls.

Next Problem I ran out of the tiny little Gift Boxes.  So I needed to create more.
Next problem was how.  I used Styrofoam that comes in with things we buy.  Cut them into little cubes.  Used a glue gun to attach wrapping paper.   Learned glue would not hold.  Well I learned that after making several and then going to bed.  It did hold just took hours to dry.  My little assembly line went so much faster once I thought about Hot glue.
Next was the bows on tope.  What a mess and so hard until the end.  I figured out to cut strips and glue on.  Then tie the little bow out of a piece.  Then attach it to my box.  I think I used the Bunny Ears method to tie my bows.  And then well just had to make package for my girls.
Well I hope you enjoyed this blog.

Valentine Brooches

Hello again,  wow 2nd post today.  As some of you know I make Brooches for the Senior Living Home where my hubby works.  Here is what I made this year 2021.

I must confess I am a bit embarrassed because I always make my Brooches from scratch.  But felt bad because I didn't make anything for Halloween or Thanks giving and was SOOOOOO late getting there Christmas Brooches to them.

I found some kits I had bought the year before and had made up or had almost done to give them this year.  Normally I get there Brooches to hubby to deliver 2 days prior to the holiday.  Got these to them 2 weeks early.  Made 30 of them.

I am posting 2 Seniors wearing them but have not had there permission to post to my blog, so I have taken out there faces.

To bad because they are beautiful pictures.  But I figured they would not understand if my hubby tried to explain to them about my blog.  Well now on to December Brooches.

Color Journal

Oops I got side tracked and forgot to come back and post.  But here I am only one day late.  Ok going to work backwards.

A new friend Donna told a group of us about a Color Journal that she had started after watching a video on YouTube.  You can click the link below or look up the Video by name.  Once I watched it I was captured, hooked.  I had to start one asap.

Color Journal

Click photos below to see larger close ups.

So I started searching for a journal to use.  Didn't want to Small

or to Big.
  I searched and searched.

Come on now I know I have something.  Finally I came across the perfect size.

And was up until 8 am creating my back ground.

Now the Right Side below

Now to confess.   I was having a hard time of finding red papers.  I know I have a craft room full SOMEWHERE OUT THERE.  But I wanted to start my journal not search and search.

Closer up of the words I found

So I made a few pieces myself.  I took pages that were grey and white or another color altogether that was in the same color range like pink or rust and used a Real Red Ink Pad from Stampin Up.  I have circled some of them.

Now need to work on adding my extras.  Will come back to this page and post as I get the pages finished.   I'm going to also show off Donna's pages as I have gotten her permission.  I forgot to do the first pages to name my Journal.  So after her showing me hers I know I have more to do.  Here is the beginning introduction to her Journal.

Here is her Red Pages.

I'm making these picture small and hoping you can click on them and make them bigger.

Thanks everyone who follows me.  I will post more as I do the page.  But will add more here as I finish my Red Pages.

COVID-19 Sucks

Oh my gosh I can't believe how much time has passed.  I am terrible at posting here.  Now I know why I don't have many followers.  Well I will drive you crazy posting tons of stuff over the next couple days.  Then probably forget for another 6 months.  SAD because I really do like posting here.  It is nice to know someone cares to read what I write or post.

As you all know COVID is wrecking everyone's lives.  Thank Goodness they now have a shot out but I'm so scared to take it.  Some of you know my Husband is a Nurse.  LPN.  He took the Modera shot and so far he is doing good.  He did get severe head aches for 3 days and on day 2 or 3 he couldn't get warm no matter how many blankets he put on and was sweating the entire time.

So if and when I get the shot it will probably be the one he got.  I just have so many allergies I'm scared to try taking it.

Well you don't need to hear much about this only that if you are reading this years from now look up the COVID epidemic.  It has killed TONS.

Watch for some awesome posts.  Will be posting the Brooches I made for Senior Living home for Christmas 2020 and Valentines 2021.  And lots more.

See you soon.
